A: If your assignment falls either side of a bank holiday you are entitled to payment for the bank holiday.
Q: If I work on a bank holiday do I get a day in lieu?
A: Yes.  You are entitled to either a day in lieu or a day’s pay.  The hours you actually work will be paid at the company’s agreed overtime rate for a bank holiday and then you either opt for your normal day’s pay or a day in lieu in addition.
Q: Do I have to work on a bank holiday if requested to do so?
A: No, you are not obliged to.

Job Types

A: We deal with office-based jobs at all levels, from trainee through to executive placements: permanent, contract and temporary. As to our clients, they reflect the spread of Jersey businesses (see bottom of Home Page for the industries we work with).
Registration
Q: Do I need to register and, if so, how do I go about this?
A: Yes, but you don't have to do this on the website - you can simply call or e-mail our office and we will make an appointment for you to come in and meet with a consultant. We'll then help you complete the simple registration paperwork.

CVs
Q: Do I need a CV? Can you help me write one?
A: Yes, we need a CV so we have a precise and proper record of who you are and what you've done to date. This will be used to ensure we approach the right clients on your behalf. If you don't have a CV, or it needs updating, we'll work with you to do this.
Q: Will you be sending out the CV that I have produced to your clients?
A: No, we will prepare a CV for you in our own format and on our headed paper which will then be forwarded to our clients.
