Every temp gets a direct line to their own Administrator who’s available to help with queries and questions. Added to which we keep all our temps informed directly with e-mails and through this comprehensive website.
We also provide a full induction briefing, with training as necessary, at the start of every assignment: we simply never throw anyone in at the deep end.
Our size, experience and the number of clients we work with mean we offer a really wide range of jobs at all levels within a whole raft of Jersey’s professional businesses: from accountancy, banking and commercial… all the way through to securities and trust... (we’re working on the ‘zeds’!).
It also means that it’s likely we can offer positions with a good degree of flexibility to suit your particular circumstances.
And should you ever want to move from temporary to permanent employment, as a loyal member of the Excel team, we’ll always be there to give you advice on the career plans you have and do our utmost to help you achieve these.
The Excel Promise
- We’ll reward you with the best possible rates available.
- We’ll pay your wages electronically directly into your bank account on the Monday following the week worked… with most banks now offering ‘faster payments’, this means the money gets into your account the very same day.
- We’ll pay you the equivalent of 2 weeks paid holiday per year, pro-rated according to the length of time that you work. In addition, if you are in a single, continuous assignment that runs over a Bank Holiday we will also pay you for this time, too.
- We’ll provide you with detailed information on the nature of the work being offered and the skills required.
- We’ll work with you to ensure that you are given assignments that best suit your capabilities, skills and aspirations.
- We’ll be there to discuss any concerns you may have and we’ll provide you with regular appraisals to understand you better and help you develop your skills in the direction and at the pace you want.
