Our client is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller.

The successful candidate will be either a part qualified or newly qualified accountant with ideally prior experience of Private Equity Funds. They will form part of the Financial Control team and will report to the Financial Control Manager. The primary focus of the role is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of quality financial information, as well as fulfilling statutory requirements around accounting, audit and tax compliance in both Jersey and Luxembourg. 

Core duties and requirements will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of Financial Statements for Limited companies in IFRS for audit.
• Assist in preparation of Consolidated Group Financial Statements in IFRS for audit.
• Preparation of Financial Statements for Luxembourg sarl’s in local GAAP.
• Excellent knowledge of day to day bookkeeping of GP activities.
• Month end close processes for General Partners and other management entities.
• Monthly reconciliation of Income Statement and Balance Sheet account substantiation.
• Cash flow forecasting, contributing towards the effective treasury management of the company’s cash reserves.
• Managing annual audit for the entities under remit
