Assistant Manager, AML

Our Client is seeking an Assistant Manager, AML, to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client onboarding relationships, management of AML processes, including due diligence on new and existing investors (CDD reviews), interpreting complex structures, and assisting with AML Periodic Reviews
  • Undertake background checks and searches/client profiling, carrying out ad-hoc Risk Screens and open-source searches as requested
  • Ongoing analysis of the effectiveness and adequacy of AML solutions provided
  • Maintain and update to AML Compliance & Risk Registers
  • Assist with the collation of CDD statistics and preparation of reports for Boards
  • Provide ongoing support and training to junior members of the team

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an AML role and, ideally, a diploma-level professional Compliance Qualification
  • Strong background and understanding of financial services
  • The ability to take ownership of matters and work independently, and liaise collaboratively with the wider team
