Assistant Manager, Client Operations

Our client is seeking someone to join their Operations team.

You will help to define the data management processes and oversee their successful implementation, collaborating with stakeholders across the business. As part of the broader client operations team, you will also provide cover for the manager and support with periodic reviews, screening, client onboarding and other operational projects as needed.

Key Result Areas:

  • Implementation of robust data management processes to ensure all data is current, accurate and has appropriate change control processes in place.
  • Ongoing maintenance of data and delivery of key data related projects.
  • Take responsibility for own personal development, in line with agreed performance objectives and development plans.
  • Be a role model and ambassador.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight/keying in data at onboarding stage.
  • Data input/amendment for banking information.
  • Coordinating updates to the list of authorised signatories and communication of changes to bank mandates to the relevant banks (6 monthly project).
  • Data entry oversight for register changes and client data.
  • Identify and escalate potential improvements to processes.
  • Supervise and support junior colleagues on the team in respect of day-to-day activities, policies and procedures, time management or prioritisation.
  • Management of the workflow of junior team members to include delegating and reviewing all out going correspondence.
  • Assist with and if appropriate conduct appraisals for direct reporting team members.
  • Support with statutory periodic reviews, which includes reviewing due diligence documentation in line with AML / CFT Handbook.
  • Support with performing risk assessments.
  • Raise outstanding periodic review points for completion by client teams.
