Our client is seeking an experienced individual to assist the Portfolio Management Team

In this role, you would assist with the management and administration of client portfolios, proposals and performance statistics and work across the business with trades and the dealing desk.

Requirements:

• Periodic monitoring of client portfolios for asset variances against the underlying model
• Rebalancing client portfolios to underlying model following asset allocation/currency target changes; cash additions or redemptions; periodic rebalancing activity.
• Comply with all investment restrictions specified in portfolio mandates.
• Monitor daily cash management, overdrafts and FX position of client portfolios and action where appropriate. Monitor and roll Forward FX currency hedges for client portfolios in line with current policy.
• Maintenance and update of client asset and currency models.
• Deal with both internal and external clients covering issues relating to the administration of client portfolios.
• Execute transactions relating to execution-only clients’ portfolios, including fund trades.
• Prepare proposals and presentations to clients.
• Manage client relationships effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure reporting and investment communication is provided in a timely manner.

Qualifications and experience:

• Level 4 qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience working within a relevant environment of an investment business.
• An excellent knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems with appropriate training.
