Associate, Periodic AML Review Administration Team

Our Client is looking to appoint an experienced compliance professional to their Client Services Support – Periodic AML Review Administration Team.

This team is the primary contact for the Fiduciary Management Teams and provides guidance and support for client lifecycle management, advising on AML/KYC policies, and driving process improvements to ensure a seamless client lifecycle management experience for clients.   

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice, training, and ongoing coaching in respect of client lifecycle management and the relevant related policies and procedures including AML, KYC, and client due diligence, source of wealth, country connectivity & acceptable client profile.
  • Driving, delivering, and communicating continuous process improvements to ensure alignment with any changes to the operating and/or regulatory environment.
  • Performing AML/KYC due diligence checks on new and existing clients and assessing client files for politically exposed persons. Providing guidance on high-risk client submissions to the relevant governance committees and attending as required.
  • Developing, managing, and producing management information in relation to client lifecycle management workflows.
  • Providing advice & guidance regarding ordering external due diligence reports; reviewing external reports and advising on potential mitigation of any issues with the relevant relationship managers and business heads.
  • Providing support to all relevant remediation projects, monitoring progress, and providing regular reporting.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of control requirements.
  • Understanding of Fiduciary Business & related Administration.
  • Relevant and evidenced experience within the wealth management industry
  • Strong communication skills; oral and written and client service orientation
