Our Client is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join its Jersey team.

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting and executing the Operational Risk Management programmes. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust operational risk management frameworks and strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. There will also be extensive involvement with key stakeholders across the business to assess and mitigate risks, conduct risk assessments, and provide regular reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead operational risk incident processes from identification to resolution
• Oversee complaint handling and assess customer complaint trends
• Deploy the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) programme
• Monitor operational risk exposure and design relevant dashboards
• Maintain an up-to-date business continuity framework
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing independent risk oversight
• Conduct training on operational risk policies and promote a risk-aware culture

Requirements:

• 8+ years in risk management within a financial services environment
• In-depth knowledge of risk management principles and tools
• Familiarity with Channel Islands banking regulations
• Strong communication, negotiation, and multitasking skills
