Our Client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and ongoing management of central data models for scalable, governed, and business-aligned data pipelines
• Proficient utilisation of Microsoft technologies, including Fabric, T-SQL, and Power BI, to deliver timely, reliable, and high-quality data solutions
• Development and maintenance of semantic models to support analytics and reporting
• Administration and optimisation of SQL Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, backup, and recovery
• Application of best practices for data quality, integrity, and compliance, including role-based access controls and encryption standards
• Facilitation of innovation and continuous improvement in data engineering and management across the business
• Effective engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders, resulting in a clear understanding of business objectives and data requirements

Key Requirements:

• Technical expertise in data engineering, database administration, and data modelling
• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a keen interest in continuous learning and development
