Our client are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.

You will work closely with our Head of Finance to ensure that financial commitments are met, and to ensure our compliance with statutory accounting, audit and regulatory requirements.

The role will involve co-ordinating the operation of the Internal Finance department to ensure the successful recording, control, monitoring and reporting of financial transactions.

You will also work closely with colleagues in the Client Accounting team, providing cover or technical support where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of quarterly billing process.
• Preparation of advanced fee routines and calculation of deferred income.
• Reconciliation of disbursements control accounts.
• Preparation of Quarter End WIP accrual (with input from client managers).
• Monitoring and reporting of aged debtors.
• Manage roll out of annual RPI increases.
• Review and reconciliation of Corporate Credit Card transactions.
• Assist the Head of Finance as required to check and verify payroll figures received from outsourced service provider.
• Preparation of updated forecast at half year point.
• Preparation of cash flow forecasting periodically as required.

Knowledge and Experience

• At least 6 years PQE with direct experience in a management accounting role or similar, within an internal finance department.
• Extensive knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of current industry legislation and regulation & working practices.
• Working knowledge of FATCA and CRS reporting requirements and Jersey tax compliance.
• Experience of developing, mentoring and coaching others.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in dealing with audit engagements.
• Experience or working with NAV One and Caseware/Value Financials would be beneficial.
