Our client is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller.

The position is with a Channel Islands focused commercial business.

The successful candidate will assist the Head of Finance in the strengthening and monitoring of the financial control function of the business and its sister companies. The role also involves assisting in the development of a team of staff responsible for all aspects of financial control in accordance with best industry practice and relevant legislation. 

A second element of the role includes data management and reporting to support various internal reports covering areas such as CSR and Compliance. 

Requirements:

• A relevant professional accounting qualification, (e.g. ACA/ACCA)
• Able to develop and manage a team
• Ability to work under pressure and to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Able to adhere to strict timelines
• A “hands-on” approach to all aspects of the job.
• Highest levels of discretion, confidentiality and professional ethics
