Group Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager (12-month fixed term contract)

Our client is seeking a Diversity Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Group HR Director and the Global Managing Partner in Jersey, we have a 12-month fixed term opportunity to support the development and implementation of global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-sponsor and subject matter expert for a global mentoring initiative launching this year, working closely with the project management team and external supplier
  • Chair regular DEI steering group meetings on key topics, establish the agenda and track progress of different initiatives
  • Manage a global engagement survey process, consulting stakeholders on the questions, driving engagement and analysing results to identify and recommend a series of appropriate actions; short, medium and long term
  • Experience in creating new policies and procedures and managing global implementation
  • Lead change programmes to improve inclusive recruitment and leadership best practice
  • Manage the group DEI budget
  • Drive engagement with our return to work channel on Teams
  • Research and advise on DEI matters in London, Channel Islands, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, UAE, Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands, being sensitive to cultural differences in each jurisdiction

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Confident and organised, with an ability to hold difficult conversations and to make decisions quickly, you'll need to be used to working to tight deadlines with multiple global stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading DEI activity in a medium / large sized professional services firm, working with senior stakeholders is essential - you'll need to think creatively and innovatively to present proposals to drive change across multiple offices.
