Our Client has an exciting opening for a Group Information Security Officer.

In this role you will be responsible for the strategy necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our Client's information and systems. This is achieved by communicating risk to senior management, creating and maintaining enforceable policies and supporting processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will also coordinate activities with other departments including the design, procurement and deployment of security-related products and awareness programmes. As Group ISO you are also responsible for client due diligence requests in respect of  Client's Cyber defence systems and business continuity processes. Further, you will be responsible for the education of the Group and its employees for all Cyber and Information Security training.

Requirements

As the ideal candidate you will hold a Computer Science Degree (or related) and have experience within the information security and cyber security arena for a minimum of four years. You will also have the ability to facilitate discussion and identify requirements and when necessary resolve conflicting information, as well as experience of working with outsourced third parties.
