Our Client is seeking a Head of Accounting!

This permanent role based in Jersey offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified accounting professional with at least 10 years' senior experience, within the private equity and real estate funds sector. The successful candidate will lead a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants, managing client relationships, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines. Key responsibilities include managing client portfolios, preparing statutory and management accounts, and supporting business development efforts. The role also involves internal team management, performance oversight, and contributing to organisational improvements.

Requirements include ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification, strong technical accounting skills, and a solid understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and industry standards such as INREV and ILPA. Leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster client relationships are essential. Knowledge of Sun Systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
