Manager - Reconciliations

Our Client has an opening for an experienced Manager within their Reconciliations Department.

In this role, you will manage the Reconciliations team, as well as provide oversight to our Client's Operations Team in another jurisdiction.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert knowledge on Cash and Stock reconciliation and use of Management Information System (MIS) to enable consistent approaches to best practices, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Overseeing the creation of reconciliations, investigations, and control reports ensuring that the business provide their business requirement via a change request and signs off UA testing.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day Hedge Fund reconciliation activities ensuring they are completed in an effective and cost-efficient manner looking to extend automation where possible.
  • Establishing common processes in support of all reconciliation and investigation activities.
  • Providing technical expertise in the use of Intellimatch Suite functionality to the teams and business lines. 
  • Oversee the development of relevant, timely, and transparent performance metrics and appropriate communication channels for distribution including escalation reporting.
  • Delivering key governance oversight reporting, including break analysis (number, ageing, value at risk), exception reporting, and escalation of outstanding items.

Requirements:

  • Practical experience with banking processes, and investment (Securities) products.
  • A comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of reconciliation systems and the deliverables that the system can produce.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Previous knowledge of Intellisuite system and working knowledge of Crystal reports would be helpful.
