Senior HR Administrator

Our client are looking for a HR administrator to join their growing team. 

You will  work with the Head of HR, helping to shape the new HR function for the business. This is a generalist position offering experience and exposure to all areas of HR, giving you an incredibly diverse and varied role.

Key Result Areas:

  • Provide excellent HR administration in line with standards, procedures and best practice.
  • Run the payroll and administer all benefits accurately and on time.
  • Act as the first point of contact in the HR team, answering and resolving routine queries.
  • Support the Head of HR with people related projects and deliverables.
  • Be a role model and ambassador.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all administration relating to the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate, efficient and timely delivery.
  • Act as the first point of contact in the HR team, responding to queries and providing advice and guidance to employees and managers in line with best practice and employment law.
  • Administration of the monthly payroll process.
  • Administration of all benefits to include healthcare and all insurances.
  • Support the annual salary review and bonus processes.
  • All resourcing related administration to include drafting job descriptions, offer letters and contracts.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and candidates, ensuring a professional experience and timely follow-up.
  • Involvement in interviews up to senior administrator grade.
  • Manage the onboarding process to include background screening, benefits set-up and induction planning.


  • A good academic background and qualified to a minimum of CIPD level 3.
  • HR administration experience, ideally within a professional services business.
  • Experience of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • An understanding of HR best practice and of Jersey and UK Employment Law.
