Senior Manager, Engagement

Our Client is seeking a Senior Manager, Engagement, to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of a comprehensive engagement strategy that supports the business strategy
  • Building and maintaining strong, effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Representing the business and ensuring the business interests are promoted and protected
  • Providing expert advice and support to internal colleagues on engagement matters, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
  • Collaborating effectively with a range of internal and external
  • Supporting delivery against business strategy, business plans and measures that matter to deliver benefits both internally and externally
  • Supporting delivery of a strong level of competency amongst colleagues through providing advice and regular coaching to meet the business's current and future workforce needs.
  • Creating an effective partnership with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure aligned, impactful messaging that supports organisational objectives

Key Requirements:

  • Strong, proven knowledge and experience of stakeholder engagement within the financial services industry, government, or regulatory environment
  • Experience in developing and implementing engagement or communications strategies at a senior level
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in complex and sometimes ambiguous situations
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build, lead, and inspire
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate persuasively (both verbally and in writing), succinctly, and credibly
  • Robust stakeholder management skills, along with strong presentation skills, including the ability to present and explain complex technical areas
