Senior Trust Officer

Our Client is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending to clients’ needs in a timely, professional manner and maintaining knowledge and control over assets and activities of entities administered
  • To take responsibility for the administration of a varied portfolio of trusts, companies, foundations and/or other entities, keeping data maintained, up to date and relevant
  • Prepare minutes/resolutions/other related documents/payments/distributions of acomplex nature and present to management/directors for review
  • Liaise with multiple business functions to ensure the effective delivery of administration services
  • To maintain a good understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements
  • To assist in the training and development (mentoring) of junior team members

Key Requirements:

  • Have 5 years+ of experience in a trust administration role and hold or be workingtowards a recognised trust qualification (STEP Diploma or similar)
  • A good awareness of Jersey local trust and company legislation and practice, including good knowledge of Anti Money Laundering Laws and Orders
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively, and manage other team members
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with an ability to meet deadlines
