Our Client is seeking a Trainee Supervisor (Supervision) to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively support the supervision of entities, in line with the agreed risk-based approach, centred on risk mitigation, and in line with regulatory and financial crime requirements
• Actively assist in the utilisation of the risk model when identifying escalating levels of risk,  ensuring appropriate follow-up action is taken
• Assist the team in the education of sectors through methods such as holding events, drop-in sessions, and the publication of guidance, to improve industry understanding and compliance. 
• Delivery of activities is completed in line with agreed processes, SLA’s and KPI’s for quality, timeliness, and efficiency, ensuring agreed standards are met
• Actively assist in maintaining high quality of data entry and record keeping/filing system that are compliant with the law and support insight into trends and improve business integrity
• Effectively building a strong network of internal stakeholders

Key Requirements:

• Able to apply a risk-based approach to tasks
• Understanding of relevant financial services and products, and an understanding of the Jersey and International regulatory and financial crime legislation/requirements is desirable
• Motivation for continuous learning and development, a flexible approach and an aptitude for team working are key requisites for the role
