Our Client is seeking a Trainee Supervisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure legislative clarity and understanding, leading to an improvement in business integrity
• Deliver effective internal working practices and procedures through identifying, recommending, and implementing continuous improvements to improve business integrity
• Develop and enhance the supervisory strategy, in line with the business’s risk-based approach, to ensure effective regulation

Key Requirements:

• Providing effective support in the delivery of effective and appropriate supervision of entities to ensure the mitigation of regulatory risks
• A passion to develop your understanding of regulated financial services, including the identification of emerging risks and the presentation of recommended solutions
• Contributing to the ongoing level of competency amongst staff through sharing best practices and regular coaching
• Motivation for continuous learning and development, a flexible approach and an aptitude for teamwork
• Knowledge and experience of relevant financial services and products, and an understanding of the Jersey and international regulatory standards
