Trust Officer

Our Client is seeking a Trust Officer to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending to clients’ needs in a timely, professional manner and maintaining knowledge and control over the assets and activities of entities administered
  • To take responsibility for the administration of a varied portfolio of trusts, companies, foundations and/or other entities, of a low-risk, non-complex nature, keeping data maintained, up to date and relevant
  • Act as a primary point of contact for designated clients and intermediaries.
  • Build and maintain client relationships under the oversight of the senior team members
  • Review statutory documents and procedures in the context of client/internal requests and raise any suggested changes accordingly
  • Responsible for ensuring CDD, reviews, and ongoing monitoring
  • Preparation of standard minutes of statutory and other meetings

Key Requirements:

  • Experience of Trust services industry or a similar regulated business
  • Experience in Trust and Company administration
  • A good awareness of Jersey local trust and company legislation and practice, including knowledge of Anti Money Laundering Laws and Orders
  • Have over 2 years of experience in a trust administration role
  • Hold STEP/CGI Certificate, be working towards or have a willingness to work towards the CGI/STEP Diploma
