Our Client has an opening for an Underwriter to join its Commercial Lines team

This role is based in Jersey and involves managing the SME platform, underwriting cases within agreed processes and risk appetite, and supporting business development and retention goals. The successful candidate will work closely with brokers, making underwriting decisions and identifying new business opportunities to contribute to the team’s success.

Ideal candidates will have insurance experience, preferably with underwriting and broker relationship exposure. Possessing CII qualifications is advantageous. You should be self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently to meet deadlines, with a strong customer service focus and keen attention to detail.
